Creative Projects and Production Management
I’ve been Manager or Assistant Manager of small and large scale events, projects and productions in the fashion and entertainment industries.

Where it all began
Starting in 2010 I began assisting friends and colleagues with small and large scale hospitality-based events such as parties, weddings, gala dinners, workshops, seminars and conferences.
A couple of years later I ventured on into the entertainment industry, organising new kind of club nights with a collective of DJs, visual and spatial artists.
Meanwhile I had started my studies at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, and I diversified into the fashion industry, which has become my main work field.
I worked for agencies, institutes and big companies in producing and programming events, fairs and brand launches.
Highlights from productions and events I have had the honour to have been involved with are listed below:

THE NEXT DAY
Production Manager - Future Generation - Amsterdam Fashion Week
Future Generation is a program within Amsterdam Fashion Week that showcases (young) fashion designers, who choose to show their designed creations beyond the traditional catwalk.
‘The Next Day' was a project initiated by curator and art director of Future Generation Peter Leferink, and created by the collaboration of Amber Jae Sloten and visual designer duo Pinar & Viola. ‘The Next Day’ is a vision of the future of fashion, showcasing a virtual collection instead of a materialized one.

10 YEARS LICHTING EXHIBITION
Creative Director's Production Assistant - Amsterdam Fashion Week
Lichting is an annual catwalk show that showcases the best fashion design graduates in the BENELUX of the past academic year.
Lichting, a collaboration of HTNK and Amsterdam Fashion Week, was founded in 2007 to bridge the gap between the academies and students and the talent-hungry fashion industry.
The concept of 'Lichting' is simple: the best academy graduates of the academic year in one central catwalk show. In the invited audience: fashion journalists, influential stylists, CEOs, and commercial and creative decision-makers on the look-out for talent; ready to spot the most exciting designers of tomorrow.
To celebrate the 10th edition of Lichting at Amsterdam Fashion Week, Creative Director of Amsterdam Fashion Week initiated an exhibition that gave an overview of the past ten years of Lichting shows.
In this exhibition the creations of Lichting winners:
Nikki Duijst, Bastian Visch, Henriette Tilanus, Sanne Schepers, Marije de Haan, Yvonne Kwok, Ann Boogaerts, Anneloes van Osselaer and Ivo Mittelmeijer.
With the editional designs - of absolute highlights - on display of from:

GLOBAL DENIM AWARDS
Global Denim Awards links progressive design with technical innovation by partnering emerging fashion designers with some of the most progressive denim mills worldwide. Since its first edition in 2014, Global Denim Awards has almost doubled its number of participants and has become the world’s premier platform for the future of denim design, innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship.
Emerging designers from all over the world have been selected and paired with one premier and progressive denim mill each. They were given the opportunity to visit their designated mill to develop an in-depth understanding of fibre, fabric, wash and denim development. Armed with these new skills as well as their mill’s best fabrications, each designer developed a capsule collection of five total looks, including treatments and washes, to be presented on the runway.
The collections that result from the collaborations between the selected mills and designers, are judged by a jury of international denim experts on the overall look, the innovative nature of the design, and the creative use of denim. Each time the winning designer received a €10,000 award. An additional award goes to the mill with the most innovative fabric.
